3. Psychological Issues: Psychological factors can cause some cases. A depressed or anxious woman may file a sham lawsuit to get help. The woman may be delusional or paranoid and believe she is being harassed. Even if she has no proof.  

4. Pressure from Society: False dowry harassment cases can also be filed due to societal pressure. In some cases, the woman may feel that she has to file a case to save face in her community or to uphold her family’s honour. Alternatively, the woman may be pressured by her family or community to file a case as a means of protecting their reputation.
