- DELHI HC TO STATE: PROVIDE BPL HIV+ PEOPLE WITH FREE FOOD AND MEDICAL TREATMENT – The Delhi High Court has ordered the Delhi Government to provide free food and medical care to HIV positive people who live below the poverty line (BPL) and cannot afford it, and to strictly enforce the 2017 HIV and AIDS (Prevention & Control) Act.

- SC – No restrictions on the right to free speech may be imposed that are not found in Article 19(2). – The Supreme Court Constitution Bench has ruled by a 4:1 majority that Ministers, MPs, and MLAs cannot be subjected to further restrictions when exercising their right to free expression under Article 19(1)(a) despite the fact that the justifications listed in Article 19(2) are exhaustive.
